ABSOLUTELY! Use those Graphic Interchange Formats like they are going out of style! They are amazingly fun and give your brand a major personality boost.

** I have challenged myself to speak through Star Wars GIFs to

express my excitement for Rogue One coming up this weekend.

6 Reasons why you should GIF up your life....

1. GIFs get your message across quick

Your audience is busy and scrolling through their Social Platform feeds faster than ever. A picture is worth a thousand word and the average GIF is made of 60 pictures! Tell your story, and tell it fast.

2. GIFs are Easy

They are a much smaller file than .mp4, .mov, .mpegs, etc! so they transfer faster and wont take up space on your mobile device. You also don't have to worry about the 1080P camera with the $1000 editing software. Shoot and edit these on your phone on the go - Easy Peasy.

3. They show you pay attention to trends

Everyone's doing it! Don't get left behind with your single, motionless images! They are also the language of the internet these days. I suggest you learn it.

4. They let your Personality Shine

Have fun! choose what GIFs best represent your brand and let them speak for you. *Hot Tip: make sure you know exactly what the GIF means. There are millions out there from Kanye to Kittens. If you don't understand who or what this GIF is about, don't use it. You could be communicating an ill meaning meme, and offend your followers.

5. They are compatible

GIFs work across all social platforms and websites, on a computer or mobile. Many platforms have saved you a step by adding their own GIF features like Twitter's collaboration with Gify to bring you the Gif Keyboard or Instagram's collaboration with Boomerang to help you create your own.

6. There is a HUGE stock of them

There are literally millions of GIFs for any situation. Check out these GIF libraries: Giphy, Imgur, GifBin and Tumblr. Or create your own!

LASTLY ....

...is how its pronounced.

Thanks for reading!
